The Hogwarts library contains tens of thousands of books on thousands of shelves. Included in its many sections is an Invisibility Section with information about dragons, and a Restricted Section at the back, set off with a rope. A signed note from a teacher is required to peruse the Restricted Section of the library; it contains books of Dark Magic that should only read by older students studying advanced Defence Against the Dark Arts. The library closes at 8:00 pm.

There is a secret passageway out of Hogwarts behind the mirror on the fourth floor. Many students are unaware of it, but a select few may use it to sneak out to Hogsmeade...

Board Description
&& FOURTH FLOOR
The corridor below the prefects' bathroom leads from the nearest staircase and up to the fourth floor. The Hogwarts library is on this floor. There is a shortcut down to the third and second floor by way of a small staircase with a trick step that students often forget to jump. It is also said that there is a narrow, hidden, corridor which leads to a mysterious mirror as well.
