Perched on a hill and surrounded by an ominous looking fence this dilapidated old building is rumored to be "the most haunted building in Britain," The Shrieking Shack is a favorite stop on any Hogsmeade visit.

No New Posts && HOGSMEADE STATION

A tiny, dark platform is where the Hogwarts Express ends its journey north from Platform Nine-And-Three Quarters. The station is located near the lake, and from there a road extends around the lake to Hogwarts Castle. The station is actually quite a distance from the town itself, being on the opposite side of the Hogwarts grounds.

No New Posts && THE HOGS HEAD

Located a block or so off High Street, the Hog's Head Inn has been a fixture of Hogsmeade for hundreds of years. A worn-out wooden sign hangs over the door, advertising with a wild boar's severed head. It's known for its cheapness, at least relative to the Three Broomsticks further into the village center, and attracts a "shall we say... interesting clientele,"

The road out of Hogsmeade runs across several places located on the Village's outskirts. The road to Hogwarts winds around the Black Lake and is surrounded on one side mountain range in the distance.
