She had felled the one who had been in front of her with Severus left with Lily. It hadn't been easy either because she had been caught off guard. Instead of just simply defending or even turning the spell away with a flick of her own wrist or with a counter spell she had literally bent backwards. Thankful now for all those lessons and her yoga training to be more flexible. It only ached a little at the moment because it had happened so suddenly and she really had not been prepared for it. Silly enough she had fired her own curse at the person in black from between her legs. It made her giggle the entire time she was running after where she thought she remembered Snape taking the Gryffindor girl.

Pandorah just hoped she could find them in time, before anything really awful happened to them. Lily was her friend and that meant something to the Ravenclaw. Because of this the two girls were not going to be able to have their fun little get together here in Hogsmeade now, it just would never be the same. At least not for awhile, perhaps not even until next year. Her thoughts were so dark and menacing right now that she almost didn't notice another masked individual until they were on top of her. So, being the strong girl that she was her first instinct worked the best. Hauling back a fist she punched them square in the mask shoving the damned thing so hard into their face that they fell on the ground. After that she started running.

Punching that last person had not been the best idea, now her fingers were starting to swell and she would bet that she had broken one of them at least. “When will this chaos end?!” Her words were hissed out between clenched teeth when she finally found Severus and Lily. She had no idea what the boy had done to the woman she walked around but whatever it was didn't matter because she was no longer a threat. Walking to catch up with them now she was about to call out when suddenly a man appeared right in front of them. Without even thinking about it she raised her wand, aimed right at the man who was thankfully easy enough to reach since he was so tall. “Rictusempra” The spell hit the man right in the throat and he fell down hard right at Severus's feet and began lauging uncontrollably. Immediately she cast another spell at the prone figure, "Silencio!". His laughter was still there yet he was making no sound at all.

Her pale eyes blinked only once before she looked to the two. “Come on let's go! Someone has to tell everyone what is going on before Hogsmeade turns into one giant graveyard!”

Lily wanted to be like the others of her house who stayed and fought, like the others from the other houses who stood to protect and fight, some ran, but they defended themselves. She felt useless, in the arms of her friend all she could think about was how useless she was at this point. For all he said she could only look up at him in a mix of frustration and anger as he told her that this was no game.

"I know they would try it." She snapped back, "And they'll kill others too, but I can help! I can--" There was so much she knew she could say to Sev, the wealth of arguments on her lips before he shot back at her with just as many reasons to hold her and keep her from running back out there. How did he know about what they wanted? She only knew whispers, but could these be the same people she'd often had nightmares of meeting? Her eyes tried to find her friend's tried to search them for how he knew, why he knew all of this, but her efforts died the minute she saw the woman behinds them.

Everything she had went into the shield she threw up to block it. It was hard to explain it, maybe the crucio had lasted longer than the seconds she thought it did, but she felt zapped of everything as a new pain blossomed across her arm and back. She wanted to cry, but it was just too much work to get those muscles in her throat to work like that. He turned them around as she held tightly to him curious as to what he thought to do. There was silence, the battle around the still happening, but there was silence from Sev, no words uttered, but nothing happened until she forced herself to look at their attacker looking dazed on the ground. She'd heard no spell, saw no flash of light...no pressure of magic, so what had just happened as suddenly as they'd turned to face her they were on their way back out of Hogsmeade.

However once more another figure stood in front of them and Lily gave a small gasp, fingers tightening in Sev's robes as she gripped her wand tightly in one hand, trying to think of something, anything to get them out of here. She wanted to protect him like he'd done for her...even if she was useless maybe she could find one last charm to...

There was no time for that, no time for thinking as suddenly a bolt flashed past them and the man fell to the ground dead. Green eyes went wide, locked on the body, the mask falling away and clattering to the ground before Pandorah came into view close. The fear only faded a little as she looked at the other girl who had just thrown out the curse, shocked to hear another student perform one of the unforgivable curses, but fighting the relief that came with the loss of danger. She just watched Pandorah a moment longer before looking down nearly burying her face against Sev's shoulder, "I want to go back...I want to get out of here..." She murmured desperately body trembling now as she stopped her struggles the fight leaving her now. People were dead, people had killed...this was the war books talked about, and for all her books and stories Lily could take no more as he own courage and responsibility failed her.

It felt like the battle was over. There was debris everywhere and there was still a large number of masked figures wrecking havoc. Callidora highly doubted that without the help of a great wizard or witch like one of the teachers or (dare she hope) an Auror. She had tried not to look too long at the students that had fallen. If she did not look then she could believe that they might not be dead. Even though she had seen the green light hit people she wanted so strongly to believe that it had not happened. It hurt to think about what that would mean.

It would mean either way that the wicked had won. If the masked figures had killed that meant that they had taken an innocent life. If an innocent person had done it...She remembered reading that murder could rip apart the soul. She did not want to think about it. It made her feel better to see other students run towards the castle. They could get help, they would live...There was hope.

CRASH!

The blond Hufflepuff had looked back too long. She could almost feel it a split second before it happened.

Oh...SHIT!

The blast had caused more damage to area around her and had sent her spinning. For a moment she was still, but finally she slowly got up. Luckily, the person who caused the damage was not nearby. Her arms were scraped and cut open and she felt very disoriented. She could hardly recall anything and it took a second for anything that has happening around her to register. Her head hurt and she could feel the blood blow down to her neck.

That was enough fighting for now. She would leave that business to the brave who still felt able to cast an effective spell. Callidora did not trust herself with a wand right then, she scarcely trusted her ability to even find a safe place. Where was the Three Broomsticks again?

[SEVERUS SNAPE]

He stood his ground, his grip on Lily tightening, the hand on his wand awkwardly poised. His arms were burning, but he had allowed himself to slip into his occlumency state and the sensation was far away, muted somehow. His mind was clear and focused, he could sense Lily's panic, feel her draw close to him...

And then the man fell to the ground with a dull thud, his lifeless eyes staring at them like glassy moons. Dead. Severus' eyes widened slightly, but he was not as affected by the image as Lily whose entire body tensed up and a gasp escaped her lips.

He saw Pandorah moving toward them, wand out, gaze flickering towards the now corpse before looking up at them. Severus' eyes narrowed, anger blossoming in the pit of his stomach. While he could not argue that they were no longer in immediate danger, he could only hope that her kill would have gone unnoticed, otherwise she had just given the fraternity another reason to target them.

"Koenig." He said, and his voice was sharp and rousing, "What are you trying to do?!" Severus hissed, "Get yourself at the top of their most wanted list!?" The dark haired boy would not admit it, but he was slightly worried for her sake, not to mention theirs, as they were in her company as of now!

Under different circumstances he would have relished the feeling of Lily relying on him for comfort and protection, and even now it gave him a sort of strength. Knowing that he had to get her back to the castle combined with his own survival instinct made for something to fall back on when adrenaline failed. But as it were, he was not lacking in that either.

"Come on!" He barked at Pandorah. They couldn't keep stopping like this. Finally the trio curved their way up, just beyond the outskirts of the village. His grip on Lily was nearly painful now, his lungs burning and his heart throwing itself against his ribcage.

Almost there.

It was odd watching Lily bury her face into Severus. Her head tilted and her brows rose but she said nothing else about the action. There was nothing wrong with taking solace in a friend, in a person you could trust, especially during a time such as this. Pandorah didn't have anyone to count on but herself and that was alright. In the end you were the only one who wouldn't leave you anyway. A grim expression painted itself over her pale features and she kept her wand in her hand her wrist poised and fingers swollen and bent. It was broken rather badly but that was not important, the pain she could easily withstand until they were all safe.

“What do you think I was trying to do? I was trying to keep you safe you idiot!” She snapped right back at him her icy eyes flashing angrily. It felt good to feel something that wasn't fear for just a moment, not that she would ever acknowledge feeling afraid. “Who cares if I am on their wanted list? I don't have anyone who worries about me like this, or no one I worry about like this either!” She pointed to him and Lily and then dropped the subject. It wasn't important right now, maybe it never would be.

Hearing Lily she nodded and pointed off the way just as Severus barked at her. If this was a different situation she may have taken offense but it wasn't and so his sharp tongue did not faze her at all. She followed along behind him, wand at the ready hand lightly twitching from the broken fingers. Hopefully they were done coming across people that would try and hurt them this far away from the fracas.

The three of them finally left the village and even though there was still hell going on behind them she felt a tad bit better. Sure she may be an accomplished wizard for her age but there were others far better equipped to handle such disasters as what was going on back in Hogsmeade. The Ravenclaw took a deep breath and looked at the two of them, almost uncertain of what to do. “Severus, you worry about Lily. I can go to the Headmaster, or any teacher we happen to come across. I'm just fine.” What she meant was that it was only her hand which was not going to impair her moving around anywhere.

She gave the both of them a smile, it was tremulous and definitely showcased her unease, then she took off at a full run. Pandorah intended on getting a hold of a teacher right away, it didn't matter who. Anyone would work. Once she did she would let them know what was going on and have it taken care of. She would probably be told to stay here, maybe she would even listen, maybe not.

OOC: So, Pan would have left Lily and Severus to run ahead once they got in safe territory. Should we assume she found a teacher then and notified them, even the headmaster afterward? I leave that decision up to admins. I was unsure of what to have Pan do so I hope this is alright xD
