The sandy haired boy's eyes narrowed, although Severus' sharp gaze noted that he did not seem comfortable, as though he knew he was playing with fire in this situation. Severus crossed his arms over his chest, regarding the scene with a unimpressed expression, his hemlock wand twirling in his long fingers.
"Really," He drawled in a bored sort of tone, "Your friend should learn to be more observant, I daresay that the next hex she walks into may not be as harmless."
The boy who had been subtly watching him growled softly, "Is that a threat Snape?" He said, as though Severus' name itself had done something to offend him. The Slytherin felt a wicked sort of smirk tug at the corners of his lips and he inclined his head.
"Of course not." He said patronizingly, as though he was talking to a three year old. "I am merely bringing to light that some people..." He paused, staring at the boy with a cold gaze, "Should watch where they step."
The leader stepped forward, "Even if it was an accident you should watch where you throw around your curses." He said to Pandorah, "There are students around here, someone could really get hurt."
Severus wanted to laugh, but more than anything he wanted to cast a particularly fierce silencing curse on the three boys. They were grating at his nerves, and even Koenig had turned much cooler, she certainly was not easily intimidated.

Her own gaze moved back over Severus and she cocked an eyebrow up. Really she had thought he would keep his mouth shut so that no attention was brought on to him but it didn't seem that was happening. She had to give him credit then, for being snarky and speaking up, she liked that. Even so he was right, the girl was lucky they hadn't been doing anything much more dangerous. That may have been interesting to see.
These boys were trying her patience and a slight tic began to pulsate on the right side of her jawline. All she wanted to do was be done with them and move on. This was not supposed to be so annoying and they should be close to done already. Instead some idiot girl had to traipse right in their path and get herself thrown back. So here had to come her erstwhile rescuers. Pandorah immediately glared at the boy who had been watching her partner when he inferred the words as a threat. Even if it was a threat it was also the truth, the girl was lucky they hadn't been doing anything more dangerous. She would be at fault for getting in the way.
The boy who had been speaking to Snape took several steps toward him and shook his head. “You think you are so smart, so clever. It won't save you.” Yet he did not advance any farther and kept looking back at the other two boys in his group.
“I shouldn't have to constantly look if people were actually watching where they are going.” Pandorah shot this back at the leader, her tone sharp with the German accent fueled by what was quickly turning into anger. “It is definitely not my fault if others cannot pay attention!” She just barely stopped herself from doing something awful and flicked her wand back so that she was not tempted to hex him into tomorrow. “Now, perhaps you should get out of here so I can continue with what we were doing? I wouldn't want you poor Gryffindors to possibly get in the way of something far more dangerous.”
The girl was bluffing but you wouldn't be able to tell. Her pale eyes flashes menacingly and her upper lip curled into a sneer. They were not going to be doing anything dangerous, just the same two spells over and over, the others didn't know that though. She counted on that, and her reputation, to make them leave. If they stalled this any longer she was going to snap.

He listened to the boy disinterested, an expression of impassive boredom written across his features. He moved, as though brushing off an insignificant insect, "Yes and you would know me so well." This boy was an idiot, he may have not been the most popular student at Hogwarts, but he had a reputation. Potter and his group of simpletons may not recognize how dangerous the arsenal of spells he held was, but Potter had little regard for the consequences of his actions and put little forethought into who he pushed around. Severus was loathe to admit that they were not completely useless, save Pettigrew who did little else than gape at his friends with stupid, worshiping gazes. Black was much more dangerous than he let on, and Lupin was not nearly as subordinate as he acted around them.
"You would do well to watch your tongue." Severus said, his voice darkening silkily, a dangerous edge of steel only just beneath the smooth surface. The eyes that fixed the boy with a chilled stare were black, amaranthine and full of venom. It was very clear who was the predator in this situation. This was Severus Snape's element, long fingers curled around the hemlock wand, looking calm, like a monochrome sky before a violent storm.
"Now I suggest you go back to your over-eager friends, and," His chilling gaze swooped over the others that were still standing across from Koenig, "That you mind your own matters. Noble as it is to stand up for a classmate, it is dangerous to accuse those you clearly underestimate of something of little consequence." Severus looked back towards the boy, eyes narrowing and glinting like obsidian. He smiled, and the effect on his cold features was macabre.
He did not look over at Koenig as he heard her speak, and took a step forward. The boy stepped back, gravitating over towards his group and looking hateful, but there was fear there. It had been there at first, but it was clear in his eyes now, Severus didn't even need to use legilimency to read him.
The sandy-haired boy looked back at his companions and back towards Koenig, it seemed now as though he had noticed Severus as well for his muddy eyes flickered back and forth between them. "Don't act like that wasn't on purpose," He hissed actually stepping forward, "We saw what happened and we know that you did that because Dickenson is muggleborn."
Severus wanted to laugh. Really he did. How convenient, falling back on blood status, his smile sharpened. These boys must be grasping at straws now, he supposed they didn't know that his best friend was in fact a muggleborn. [/blockquote]

Pandorah had honestly thought that this entire fiasco was going to just blow over and the idiot boys would be on their merry way. Of course she was wrong with this because that would be entirely too damn easy. Her and Severus could not be left in peace to finish up the simple project for the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher and then be on their own merry ways. This was taking entirely too damn long and she was about to completely snap and lose more than just her patience with these moronic boys and their sheer need to suck in more testosterone than necessary and stick up for a bitch who was no longer around.
Oddly enough her temper was thwarted, though only partially, by her partner. She turned to look at him and watch as he began to dress down the other boys around them. It was entirely too amusing and she could not keep the rather wicked smirk from her full lips. For the moment she was perfectly content to stand there and let the Slytherin boy give the Gryffindors a mouthful. She didn't always have to be the one with the sharp tongue and bad attitude, and since there was a bit of respect in her for Snape this was much easier than it would be if it were anyone else.
Even though she was listening and watching Severus her wand was being tapped once more, this time in the palm of her other hand. A steady tap tap tapping rhythm that was in time with her left foot on the ground before her. It was jarring and irritating to the boys and she knew it, her keeping time for no reason other than to prick at their senses and cause them to become jumpier then they already were. He was so right. She was not a Prefect just because she was some type of ass kisser. Pandorah had a lot of talent and was good at keeping others in line, not to mention her bloodline and influence in general. These boys were playing with fire and she was all too eager to make them burn because of it.
The third boy who had been silent up until now slowly brought out his wand, sensing that things were becoming a little too tense and he wanted to be prepared just in case. He still kept his mouth shut but his eyes traveled back and forth between Pandorah and Severus.
“Do you honestly think I would resort to some parlor trick spell if I meant it to be on purpose?” Her voice was loud now and she got right in the Gryffindor boys face, her eyes sparking dangerously. “Why the hell would I care how or what she was born as? It's obvious the girl is a damned idiot so really everything else is trivial.” With her free hand she jabbed the boy in the chest. “Go ahead and keep up with your false accusations. I will see you burn for it boy.” The way she was speaking was more like an authority figure than just another student. Even Mother Nature seemed to be backing her up as the wind picked up and began to whip about the small group with a sudden ferocity. “You are just as bad. Saying it happened because of blood, blaming me because of mine. I don't give a damn how a person was born so long as they have some shred of intelligence, unlike you lot.”
Finally she backed off but only enough so that her hand could point her long inflexible wand at the young man and give him a glare. “Be off, right now. I am tired of your misplaced bravado and delusional ramblings.”
The boy that had backed off from Severus finally reached the group and whispered to the other one who had been silent. “Maybe we should just...go. We can tell a teacher if necessary. Neither of them has the best of reputations and one is a Prefect. I don't think they are going to back down anytime soon.” His voice was loud enough for their sandy-haired leader to hear but not for Pandorah nor Severus.

Severus eyed the boys wand as he raised it, taking another step forward and fixing him with a dark look as if challenging him to move another finger. In the background he could hear Pandorah degrading them and he could not help but grudgingly admit that he believed her when she said she would see them burn. There was something almost sensual in the way she threatened them and Severus sensed that she seemed to enjoy playing with her prey before she ate them alive.
The air changed around them. Tense and metallic, tinged with the smell of something not unlike the tang of blood. The little group of Gryffindors did not seem so robust any longer. Severus watched this change with immense smugness, enjoying the unsure looks on the boys faces. Naive children like that needed to learn as quickly as possible that the things would not always fall into place for you. Life wasn't fair and there wasn't always a clear cut explanation or reason that things happened. They just did.
"I have to admit, listening to you three whine and commiserate has been the ultimate highlight of my afternoon, however sadly," He paused with thick irony in his voice, "I do believe this meeting has come to an end. Go back to your tower and find something else to cry about, I daresay you have made quite the impression here. " He snorted softly, eyes full of ill intended mirth.
The boys looked enraged, as though they had never been spoken to in such a manner before and he waited, almost hoping they would raise their wands against he and Koenig. Oh all those nights in the restricted section of the library would certainly come in handy wouldn't they.
Unfortunately the boys decided the wiser option was to leave and they turned, glaring disdainfully back at the two as they hurried off. Dogs with tails between their legs.
Severus watched them go, twirling his wand lazily. Finally he turned to Pandorah and nodded curtly, inclining his head and eyeing her as though he was actually seeing her for the first time. "I daresay that you enjoyed that." Severus drawled, a dark eyebrow arched in an expression of veiled and irritated amusement.

Immediately she was bored. The boys had left and of course with good reason. However she wanted them to say more, do more. She wanted a damn good reason to hurt them and her fingers ached with that urge. Why need a reason? The voice whispered in the back of her mind and she hushed it with the same thing she always did, trouble. It was not worth the hassle, her end results would change and that was not acceptable. Yet, something would happen to them at some point she would make sure of it. Only it would be after careful planning and making sure it could not be brought back to her in any way. This was one of the great advantages of being so smart, things could happen and people were never the wiser.
She was forced to take a deep breath to calm down her body and mind. It was not a weakness but still something she wasn't keen on letting other people know. Pandorah Koenig liked to cause other people pain, she enjoyed inflicting violence and even more so if there was a chance she too could get hurt. In the end she always won, at least for now, and the adrenaline rush and sense of victory was intoxicating. Not to mention knowing you were just that damn good and could beat other people into submission. Severus may get a glimpse of that, depending on how much attention he was paying to her at the moment that is.
Her eyes lit back upon the dark boy and she actually favored him with a smile, and it was no ordinary one either. Predatory and full of teeth it signaled that she was incredibly dangerous, but not necessarily to him, at least not now. “Enjoy it? Ahh it was a nice distraction but they were too weak to be of any real fun. Now, if they had a damned backbone or would have put up some type of fight I may have loved it.” She shrugged her shoulders and pointed around them with her wand. “Seems we have drawn a bit more of a crowd, though unlike that idiot girl they are smart enough to stay a good distance away.” Indeed, the shouting had brought about nearly everyone in the area that could have heard them, all standing far enough so that they wouldn't be hurt but obviously paying far too much attention to the pair.
“So the question is, do we continue on with what we were doing and ignore them or move elsewhere. I know you want to get this done just as much as I do.” Of course they could always just do it again another day but she left that option for him to bring up. While she spoke to him she paced back and forth, even the deep breathing she had done not enough to calm her just yet. She felt like a caged animal, all need and hunger of a type she wasn't fully aware of. It gave her a minor headache and she frowned.
Some of the people around them moved just a little closer and Pan actually stopped moving and put her wand away. She was on edge a bit too much and finding it a little ridiculous. Never had she gotten in a fight at school. Oh, there were shouting matches of which she won, but nothing involving magic. She knew her reputation spoke for itself but that did not change the fact that she wanted to, and almost wished for it with a vengeance this time around.
