Name:Noah Paige Kingston Alias: Noah, though she wishes she had a more feminine name. Age:16 Birthday:April 5th Gender: female Blood: muggleborn Sexual Preference: She’s heterosexual, though not afraid to experiment. Wand: Birch, Fairy Wing(s), 11.5” Pet: male calico named Omega Special Ability: none
Year: sixth House: gryffindor
Best Subject: Charms Worst Subject: Transfiguration Quidditch: No, but she is a HUGE fan of the game. Obsessive even. Patronus: Yes, a raccoon.
Hair: She changes her hair style frequently, though it’s naturally curly. Every morning she works for over an hour to de-frizz and detangle her mass of dark brown curls. Some days she’ll straighten it, but most of the time she’s too lazy and will just leave it curly. Eyes: Her eyes are a pale shade of grey-green, perhaps like the color of moss, and though they are slightly slanted, they are still rather large. Consequently she often appears as if she’s about to ask a question. Height: She’s not the tallest girl around at 5’2”. Weight: 120, she’s not heavy, but she’s not super skinny either, she’s got a nicely rounded shape. She blames her D cup breasts for the extra weight.
The spring equinox, March 21, is the beginning of the new zodiacal year and Aries, the first sign, is that of new beginnings.
Consequently, Noah is adventurous, ambitious, impulsive, enthusiastic and full of energy. She is a pioneer both in thought and action, very open to new ideas and a lover of freedom. She welcomes challenges and will not be diverted from her purpose except by her own impatience, which will surface if she doesn't get quick results.
She is a courageous leader with a genuine concern for those she commands, being a responsible person, it is rare that she will use her subordinates to obtain her own objectives as a leader, but occasionally it does happen. She may be unwilling to obey or submit to directions for which she can see no reason, or with which she disagrees. She is much concerned with herself, both positively and negatively - self-reliant but also self centered (sometimes). Her immense energy makes her aggressive and restless, argumentative occasionally, headstrong, quick tempered, easily offended and capable of holding grudges if she feels herself affronted.
Her motto is "get something started and lead the way". She has free rein to express herself at home, and does her best to keep it that way in every aspect of her life. She often forces others to look at themselves in a new way. She does this by knowingly carrying out a deliberate act in the name of some cause that moves her. A negative effect of her personality is that she sometimes unknowingly makes it hard for others to relate to her, as she really is.
In her personal relationships she is frank, direct and candid, and makes enthusiastic and generous friends. There is, however, a negative side to her associations with other people. She can easily be irritated by slowness or moderation in her companions, and ride roughshod over the sensitivities of others.
She is highly devoted to her family and friends, to the point of laying down her own life, so that they might live. You would be hard-pressed to find a more defensive and loving person in all of Europe.
Noah Paige was born of Margaret and Peter Kingston on an unusually cold and rainy April morning in Lancaster. Her mother, Mrs. Kingston, was an incredible woman. Even at a young age Noah knew that her mother was the person she most wanted to be like. She was calm, collected, patient, and refined at all times; she never lost her temper. Her dad was always going on about how much he loved her mother, how nothing could ever make him want to leave her side. Noah grew up the second child of the Kingstons. Her mom and dad clearly wanted more children, but nothing they did seemed to work. And so, the two grew up very close to one another. Noah never attended public school, and while there’s many a nice boarding school available to children of the upper-class families, Noah was enrolled in private school and stayed there until she got her latter from Hogwarts.. She was very bright as a child, perhaps it comes from her being excessively curious, but as anyone can tell you, a bright child who is bored is a bright child in trouble. As such, Noah was constantly playing jokes on and playing games with household items. She once took all of the spoons from the kitchen and hid them through out in the living room. It took her father hours to locate all of them, and all the while mother and daughter were giggling in the hallway. Her dad didn’t find quite the same humor in it as she did. After that he fired her babysitter, insisting that Noah was too old and needed to learn to take care of herself. Noah threw tantrums for two weeks after he laid off Mary, the sitter, but there was no point in resisting his will; even at nine she knew that to be true.
By the time she was eleven, she had learned to act like a proper lady. Well, sort of. She could put on a believable façade when in public, and around her father, but she was still the same rambunctious child she’d always been. She played fewer practical jokes, and fewer games, but even her dad couldn’t stop her from playing outside on Sunday after mass and dirtying her dresses. She never managed to wear the same one twice she got them so filthy.
Her mother would bring her grandmother to visit frequently. Noah loved her grandma, more than anyone else in the world, and her mother felt the same way. She was a bit pompous, a bit mischievous, and entirely full of laughter and cheer. She would bring Noah presents whenever she came. Little things, like bracelets and decorative hair ties, often no more than candy, but none-the-less Noah would get very excited when she came. She would always take off her coat and ask Noah to hang it up instead of her father. She said it was because her granddaughter did a better job of it, but it was common knowledge that it was actually because she’d have something hidden in the pocket for Noah.
After mass one Sunday Noah raced home, knowing that her grandmother would be at home waiting for her. She rushed inside and flung open the closet door. Her grandmother’s favorite coat was there, and Noah wanted to snuggle into it, into her smell. She reached into the pocket where she knew something awaited her… but the pocket was empty.
Mrs. Kingston handled the death of her mother worse than anyone. She didn’t come out of her room for more than a month, and wouldn’t even let Noah in when she had nightmares. It got so bad, that even Mr. Kingston began to worry about her. When they took her to the hospital, she’d lost thirty pounds and had become extremely frail. Mr. Kingston had her admitted to a mental health ward of the local hospital, in the hopes that she would recover there.
The next few years of Noah’s life were devoted to her studies; Charms, transfiguration, potions, the works. She never cared for arithmancy, and her dad didn’t pressure her about studying it, whether from lack of knowledge of the magical world, or a refusal to put pressure on his daughter, we will never know. She learned to play the piano when she was at home for the summer. She became less of an irritant to her father, who even once remarked on how like her mother she was becoming. Instead of making Noah happy, as his words were meant to, they sent chills down her spine.
When Noah turned fourteen, she barely recognized her mother. Frequently she would go to the hospital, in the hopes that her mother would be looking more herself. Yet every time Noah left the hospital disappointed. The doctors tried to comfort her, but Noah was all too aware that her mother would never recover.
Now, in her sixth year at Hogwarts, she doesn’t speak of her mother, and no one dares bring it up with her.
