Player's Name: Garret. Other Characters: Peter Pettigrew. Contacts: PM, AIM, flimsysparrow. Random Fact: I'm a personnn.
Name: Elexrian Leesan Koenig. Alias: Lex, Eli. Age: 16. Birthday: December 28th. Gender: Male. Blood: Pure. Sexual Preference: Heterosexual, although he's openly flirtatious with nearly everything living and breathing. Wand: Fourteen and a half inches of sturdy Rowan wood with dragon heartstring at the core. Pet: He has a calico cat named Bastian; he's two years old and probably one of the strangest cats in the world. Special Ability: N/A.
Year: Sixth. House: Gryffindor.
Best Subject: Defense Against the Dark Arts; he likes the idea of being fully capable of protecting yourself from anything. Worst Subject: Divination; he just doesn't see the point, and thus receieved horrible marks the one year he decided to take it. Quidditch: Yes; chaser. Patronus: Yes; a peregrine falcon.
Hair: Elexrian's dark chocolate hair is of an average length - he keeps it cut neatly, but that doesn't mean it won't find a way to get messed up again, much to his annoyance. For the most part, he keeps it clean, neat, and away from his face - because, in case you couldn't tell, he would never do anything with his hair to take anythingaway from his striking facade. Eyes: Bluish gray, almost icy. He carries most of his expression in these. Height: Six feet, four inches. Weight: 165 pounds.
The first thing a stranger would notice about Elexrian is that he is amazingly confident, to the point of arrogance; always, he walks with his shoulders back and head high. It’s a walk that only just falls short of a strut, and only because he has sense enough not to be ridiculous. He’s quite handsome, and well aware of it. He believes that arrogance is a good thing in people that have grounds to be self-important. His arrogance is probably one of his worst external flaws. Other than that, he’s quite a likeable person to most - he’s your average teenage boy, loaded with testosterone, roaring with laughter at times and sulking quietly at others. He can make conversation with nearly anybody, and makes an attempt to relate to everyone he encounters, which is what makes him a particularly likeable person. His second most prominent trait is his infallible charm - he’s capable of bringing color to the cheekbones of even the most prim and proper, and he won’t hesitate to boast about that. He’s talked his way out of many detentions and bad marks in classes by only being a remarkable liar and a master of false flattery. It’s hard to tell when he’s complimenting someone because he’s attracted to them or because he wants something from them, which is why most females are wary of him.
You could say that Elexrian is something of a Cassanova, at least he can come off that way. However, at the age he is, he hasn’t got many conquests to speak of - thankfully - but when he has one to tell about, he’s everything but sparing with the fine details. Regardless of this small reputation he upholds, he’s a gentleman when it comes down to it - downright chivalrous. He’ll open a door for a lady, and is never hesitant to aid a “damsel in distress”. It’s all part of some kind of heroic subset of his personality that doesn’t come out all that often - but when it does, it’s propelled by a huge surge of adrenaline. He’s extremely, contagiously happy, as well - often grinning, smirking, snickering or laughing, when he’s in an infectious good mood. Of course, like most people, he has a few different sides, and as you get to know him better, you tend to see more of them.
Although he may be all fun and games on the outside, it’s a terrible mistake to cross him. He’s a generally nice person that doesn’t seem like the type to get into it with anyone, but he does have a colder, more ruthless side, and if given reason won’t hesitate to cause extensive damage to someone. Everyone has that those traits that make you seem like a terrible excuse for a human being at times, and Elexrian is no exception; his anger is one of those things. It’s not that simple to piss him off. He has certain triggers, and then of course a point where he couldn’t possibly take anymore annoyance, sadness or anger. He’s not bad at holding his own with his fists, but his most lethal weapon would, of course, be his wand. It doesn’t seem like he’s all that devoted to his studies, but he has extensive knowledge of jinxes and hexes and wouldn’t hesitate to use any of them. His second flaw is definitely the fact that he’s been spoiled to the point of no return. As a child, he barely had to breathe and whatever he desired would be presented to him on a plate of silver. There are times, even now that he’s grown, that this spoiled nature comes out in its entirety, and he can sometimes be reduced to pouting and sulking when he doesn’t get what he wants.
Elexrian is extremely protective of those he loves and cares for: his friends, and of course his flesh and blood. If you aim to make him angry, bothering with either would be just the way to do it. He’d more than likely give his life for those he loves the most, and would go out of his way to protect them - particularly his twin sister. Not only is he overly protective of those that he loves, he’s also exceedingly loyal. He would never break a promise or tell a secret - it just isn’t in his nature.
The least prominent but still present part of the Gryffindor is his compulsiveness, and his taste for danger. He tends to do risky things without investing much thought in the potential outcome, even if it may include self injury or possibly death. He likes to live for the moment and isn’t in the least afraid of being injured - coupling his compulsiveness with his anger problems and protectiveness makes for a force to be reckoned with.
Although his birthday essentially marks the day his mother died, Elexrian’s birth was severely unremarkable; his birth was, at least. He was born first, seconds before his sister, Pandorah, and it was after both healthy babies had been born that their mother died. Lex has always been able to detach himself from this, assuring himself that there isn’t much of a point in being sad - he never knew his mother, and feels little to no guilt for her death. However, he can’t deny that there’s a certain part of him missing: the part that was supposed to be nurtured and cultivated by a mother’s love. Growing up, he always felt unsatisfied, unsure of what he needed to quench this strange longing he had. As a baby and toddler, he experienced a cycle of various female caretakers, although none of them brought about the maternal attention he pined for. Looking to his father for this was pointless; he was a good man and cared for his children, but he was not he nurturing sort, and this much was certain from a young age. In result, he’s grown with a certain thirst for attention and affection.
Elexrian paid little to no attention to his home environment. As a young boy, he was more interested in toys and games, all of which he could receive in excess. Any internal need he had was numbed, but not satisfied, with material objects. He was slightly shadowed by his twin, but he didn’t mind. He was born a child that complained and spoke very little, that loved heedlessly and rarely expressed any form of discontent. Of course, as he grew, he developed more questions, more complaints, more unquenchable desires that he could never fully comprehend or even begin to satisfy. He bounced back and forth from being a very meek and mild boy to one that demanded attention and rarely got it, which only threw him into fits. He reserved his anger only when around his sister; his father and the women that tried to care for him were the those that received the butt of it. Of course, he was never able to keep it up for too long; often in the end he was left feeling silly and still slightly empty. Dark feelings for such a small child, but when alone, negative feelings can grow and fester; the only pro is that it doesn’t take as long for them to be replaced by a stunning sort of happiness, if they can be, and that was what the toddler, as he grew into a child, equipped: smiles, grins, a quiet sense of humor that he employed only when spoken to. Otherwise, he was quiet and absorbed in his playing, quite content with being alone.
He observed quietly as his twin excelled and he remained average; he attended a standard school while she was home schooled, and didn’t mind it a bit. He was brought into a new world when he began attending school, socializing with other children; it helped him to become less spoiled and angry and more social and content. He liked to be able to go somewhere - school was almost like an adventure to him, and as the child of two magical folks, he was quite looking forward to furthering these little adventures at Hogwarts. Regardless of what he did, that was always on the horizon; he looked forward to it every passing day. He hardly paid any mind to his sister’s change in demeanor - mainly because she treated him differently, and he hardly saw the way she treated other people. Nothing particularly traumatizing happened in the duration of the boy’s childhood; he was never beaten or mistreated or abandoned, but he does have faint memory of a woman his father once married, one of the many, and how she used to watch him and admire him; she was so terribly nice and comforting, and then one night she overstepped some cold, sick boundary that terrified the young boy; he ran to the only person he ever sought comfort in: his sister. After that, he would hardly even look at his step mother, much less speak to her or play games with her, as he used to. Curiously enough, she died two weeks later from a terrible accident. It didn’t devastate him or make him happy, only made him curious, questioning the way the world worked - with death, birth, misfortune, and the like; the fact that he was forced to think this way so early in his life is probably part of why he matured so quickly.
Naturally, at the age of eleven, he accompanied his sister to Hogwarts. Unlike Pandorah, Elexrian was overwhelmed with excitement; new adventure, new people, things of the like - those excited him. He was very much expecting the both of them to be sorted to Slytherin; to him, the house you were sorted into was more genetic than reflective of your personality - but was shocked and somewhat pleased to see that neither of them were. His sister was placed in Ravenclaw, he in Gryffindor. Although he wasn’t accustomed to being so constantly separated from her, he was used to not attending school with her, so it wasn’t much of a painful divide. Still, for the first few years of school, he would find her whenever he possibly could. He would dread going home, as well, and still does; he dislikes it there. The environment, as he’s grown, has become more cold and uninviting, contrasting with the warmth and depth of Hogwarts. He’s taken to spending most holidays at school and trying to visit with friends as much as possible over the summer.
