After walking down the final set of stairs to the dungeon Elijah found a nice place to wait. The day has been going so well and he had a feeling that it was about to go so much better. Seeing bad things happening to other people had put him in a good mood and he was about to make it worse for the girl who all these things had happened. He had a good view of the entrance to the Potions classroom. He was waiting for her, whatever her name was. He laughed as he thought back to what all had happened before he arrived at the dungeons.
His day was made better because bad things kept happening to this girl in his classes. He found her, argued a bit, and had fun overall. She fell from bumping into him and badly hurt her wrist. But this Ravenclaw was too stubborn to go to the Hospital Wing. She would go on during the Potions test and Elijah wanted to make sure that he was sitting beside her to take all of her suffering in. He planned on taunting and goading her for awhile. She was easily annoyed and he was fairly sure he now knew how to push her buttons with ease. He was excellent at brewing and one thing a Ravenclaw can't stand is someone telling them how to do something.
Elijah was snapped out of his thoughts after a while when he saw her. His smirk came back and he pushed himself off the wall. When she entered the classroom be paused in the doorway. He had to wait for her to get most of her things out before he sat by her. If she had enough stuff out she wouldn't move. It seemed to take forever but he finally saw his opening. He walked up behind her and leaned over to whisper in her ear. "Hey. Long time no see." He said before sitting by her and getting his things out of his bag. "Did you go to the Hospital Wing?" He asked, not looking at her. On a second thought he turned to look at her "Of course you didn't. You stayed in the Library cramming, didn't you?" He laughed before adding one last thing "I didn't study at all. I figure I'll just wing it."

Emily’s day had gone from bad to really bad to even worse. After having things spilled on her and thrown at her she had ran into some stupid Slytherin and fallen and broken her wrist. Oh yes, it was definitely broken she had decided. If it hadn’t been for the fact that the Slytherin would be all smug and superior if she went to the library, the Ravenclaw would have given up her 20 minutes of extra study time.
Instead she had been in the library the whole time. As the adrenaline wore off the pain had gotten steadily worse. Now it was throbbing. She wasn’t completely sure how she’d be able to complete the potion, but dammit she would. She would throw her O in that smug bastard’s face too.
She walked in the classroom and began setting up her things attempting to only use one of her hands. Once her things were pretty much set up she heard someone sit beside her and glanced to see who it was. Her eyes narrowed. “Go sit somewhere else,” she demanded. He of course made no inclination that he was going to do so and actually started setting up his stuff. Apparently he was going to make good on his promise to torture her.
She rolled her eyes. “Of course I didn’t. It isn’t that bad.” It was. “I’ll do just fine.” Maybe. She felt her blood boil and turned away when he made his comment about not studying at all. If he did better than her she was going to be furious. She hated people like that even when they hadn’t broke her wrist.

Elijah kept setting his stuff up despite her telling him to sit somewhere else. She wasn't going to make him, he knew that. So there wasn't even a problem. "Ooh, not so polite." He said as he fumbled with some vials. "I guess what they say about Ravenclaws is true. All brain no manners. You're like a robot." He then put on his best robot impression, including his own lame version of robot arms flailing all over the place. "Manners do not compute. Error. Error. Self destruct." He followed with a noise that was supposed to be an explosion accompanied with his hands making the motions by his head. Right after this he gave a laugh and instantly sobered up. He. Was. An. Idiot.
He looked her over when she told him it wasn't bad. It had taken on a nasty color and it was hurting his wrist just to look at it. "Sure you will." He said sarcastically. As she looked away from him he thought of something to annoy her even further. He leaned back in his chair, propped his feet up on the desk, and gave a loud sigh. "Wait... What potion are we doing today? I completely forgot." After that he waited. He knew that she wouldn't be able to help herself. It was in her nature to correct him. She had been doing it for the few short minutes he had met her in the previous hallway.
Elijah kept his feet on the desk until Slughorn came in and gave him a look. He let out a frustrated sigh as he pulled both of his feet back and places them on the ground. He chanced a glance at what's-her-face beside him before he couldn't help himself. "What's your name, anyway?"He felt that the way he asked was too polite. "I bet I can guess." He added quickly so she couldn't answer. "Leah. No. Lillian. No... I got it! Lucy! You look like a Lucy."

This guy was seriously a huge jerk. What was wrong with him? Yes, she was able to accept that she had kind of been horrible to him all day. She felt perfectly justified in acting like that though after the day she had. Emily had an excuse. His only excuse was that he was a jerk. “I guess what they say about Slytherins is true too. They’re all jerks.” She had no idea where he was getting this stereo-type of Ravenclaws either. Most Ravenclaws were perfectly pleasant. At least her crappy stereo-type made sense. She sort of knew what robots were. They were these metal contraptions that muggles made in movies or something. She didn’t really understand the reference though.
When he started flailing about and talking in his stupid voice Emily stared at him as if he were completely insane. “What is wrong with you?” she hissed at him glancing around and seeing a few people staring at him. “You look like a freak,” she informed him.
She stared at him incredulously. He couldn’t remember the potion they’d be doing for their exam? She sincerely hoped that he was kidding. Better yet, he wasn’t kidding and he’d fail the whole thing. Wouldn’t that be karma? She seriously considered not saying out loud, knowing he had probably only asked her to irritate her, but in the end she couldn’t help but tell him. It was in her nature when she knew the answer to a question. “The draught of living dead,” she said, somehow remaining calm.
If looks could kill the Slytherin would be dead right now. He thought he was hilarious didn’t he? He had pretended not to know who she was. Maybe he had asked about her. How he would know exactly how badly calling her by her sister’s name would irritate her, she wasn’t really sure. People got her and Lucy confused all the time, and it always bothered her. Today was especially bad though. “Oh, you are hilarious. I bet you’re really proud of yourself for that one. How long have you been saving that one up? Did you know before or after our meeting earlier who I was?”
