Hair: Chord keeps his hair wavy and cut just below his shoulders. It is platinum blonde- almost white in some lights. Most of the time, he will tie it back in a low ponytail with a black ribbon.
Eyes: His eyes are a cold, ice blue that hold no sympathy in them. Rarely do they ever give way to what he's really thinking.
Height: 5'10". He may be mistaken for a girl, though his height has helped to distinguish him at times.
Weight: 135 lbs. He is very small and waif-like. In a physical duel, he couldn't really hold his own against someone larger than him (or with more muscle.)

Even to his own house, Chord is a mystery. He rarely speaks unless spoken to, and even then his words are carefully chosen. He often hides away by himself, refusing to socialize with anyone outside of the classroom. However, he has a certain amount of house pride, despite the fact he thinks most of his fellow school-mates are incompetent. He spends much of his free time on the Hogwarts grounds rather than inside the castle.

He can be described as aloof and disconnected. It's very likely that he will stop paying attention to a person trying to have a conversation with him in favor of his own thoughts. No, he doesn't give much care or thought to anyone at all. In fact, he believes that most people's opinions are too insignificant for him to begin to consider.

Raised in a pureblood-mentality household, it is no wonder he holds himself up on a high pedestal. This, combined with certain aspects of the veela personality creates an air of assurance and self-importance. His charm is watered down in comparison to a female counterpart, but it has been present enough to make a few heterosexual boys question their sexuality. He owns his feminine physique and never seems to be unsure in insecure due to it.

Like his house would suggest, Chord is cunning. He uses under-handed methods to obtain what he wants and has been known to go to extreme in certain cases including practicing magic without a wand in secret (something he has been given detention for when he has been caught.) He has a passion for magic, though his true strength lies in divination. While he has yet to make a prophecy, more than once has he made a significant prediction about a situation.

Born to the wealthy, aristocratic, pureblood family of d'Antoine, Chord was raised in Bordeaux, France. In fact, that is where he grew up until he was sent off to Hogwarts. His life there was that of any rich, spoiled kid. He got what he wanted when he wanted, provided he kept in with his family's ideals and obeyed their orders.

He was the only child of the family, and thus all of his parents' expectations fell on his shoulders. While he had cousins on his mother's side in the D'Amorelle and De Ville families, he was the last bloodline of his father. Not only was he taught the normal subjects of reading and writing, but he was instructed in learning how to control his magic. It was also discovered early on that he had a talent for Divination, and much of his concentration was put into it. He grew to love it, but perhaps that was conditioned in him rather than his true passion.

Both of his parents elected for him to attend Hogwarts rather than Beauxbatons. His mother had been in the Slytherin house, and she wished for her son to attend the school and receive the same quality education. He was taught English for two years before he got his letter to the school. While shopping for his supplies, he received his first wand, but not from a wand shop. His father's family had connections with a wand maker who specialized in the more unique cores. It was through him that he found his wand made of Ash and Augurey Feather.

While on the Hogwarts Express, he met a muggle-born boy by the name of Rasmus Blackeberg. While he thought he could be friends with the boy, Rasmus was sorted into Hufflepuff and himself into Slytherin. The next few years, they proceeded to lose contact. Chord became increasingly antisocial and distant from his peers as his parents' expectations began to weigh him down. Currently, he is in his sixth year at Hogwarts, and he has recently rekindled his friendship with Rasmus- though there seems to be something more than friendship under the surface- in fact, most people suspect them of actually being "together" which is treacherous for a pureblood Slytherin boy.
