Player's Name: Anathema Other Characters: Not Applicable Contacts: PM & Chat Box & AIMs Random Fact: I like dark things, you know how it goes.
Name: Amy Arkwright Alias: Mimi, Mia Age: Fifteen Birthday: Fifth of February, 1961. Gender: Female Blood: Half Sexual Preference: Pansexual Wand: Cypress, Doxy Wing, Seven Inches, Sturdy Pet: A Pink-Eyed White Rat that she normally keeps inside a pocket of one of the articles of clothing she is wearing; her pet is more than just a pet, it's her friend and she treats it as such. One might just catch the creature all dolled up like some kind of fancy animal, one might even find its outfits to be somewhat humerous. Special Ability: None!
Year: Five House: Slytherin Best Subject: Charms has got to be Amy's favorite class because she enjoys the instant gratification of conjuring up a charm as soon as it is learned while also appreciating the many different charms that exist in the magic world and their uses. Worst Subject: Care of Magical Creatures, belive it or not, is her worst subject by far! It is her worst subject because she just doesn't ever get a decent grade in the class and that is due to the fact that she just does not try and not because she does not know how to take care of creatures of the magical world. The truth is that she could just care less about any other creature on the planet that wasn't her very own pink-eyed rat pet. Quidditch: No Patronus: No
Hair: Blonde, jagged and messy with a sense of direction, runs down to the middle of her back. There will be times where she dolls her hair up in different styles but, naturally, there appears to be an edge to its somewhat straight nature. Eyes: Blue Height: Five feet and eight inches, 5'8". Weight: One hundred and twenty-two pounds, 122lbs.
If you could describe Amy in a message then that message would be a simple one to convey: "misanthropic to the core." Interacting with people, leaving her room or doing anything she doesn't want to do, these are things that slowly pull her mind into the depths of darkness that lay beneath it. Ever since she was a young child she was this way, there wasn't any triggering event in her life to turn her into such an outcast; you could say that she was just born with hate; that's a pretty whimsical statement, don't you think?
She is far above the boundaries of loyalty and friendship; she's loyal and friendly to no one other than herself and those whom she finds a use for. "A use for" is, of course, used very broadly as a use could be anything from acquiring a writing instrument to getting something a little bit more intimate than an answer on some kind of test. You could say that she is never just nice out of the kindness of her heart and that there is always a reason behind any smile she gives or kindness that she displays; her thoughts on the whole matter is that if no one was there for her in the past then she shouldn't be there for them.
A half-blooded creature that never truly understood why it was she had grownup in the kind of househould in which she had. Her father was the magical one and her mother was what the denzins of Hogwarts would call a muggle (and, oh, how Amy hated that word). She had went on since an early age unbeknownst to her that she possessed magical potential. Perhaps she would have went her whole life not ever learning a thing about her "true self" if she hadn't been so upset on that faithful night.
She were but a young girl at the age of eleven who had been left behind at the park by her mother and father who had an emergency they both had to attend to immediately. That "emergency" of theirs was something she would never learn, she never cared to learn about it, but at the time she was deeply hurt by the fact that her guardians had left her behind at the local park to take care of something other than her. Amy was use to her parents always being there, Amy was use to her parents always watching over her and giving her the world; that was the first real time she ever could recall that they weren't around when she "needed" them.
Amy was hungry and she was only getting hungrier, she had an appetite that could put most exotic animals to shame; there was no one there to feed her, no one she knew was around to take her to her most favorite place to grab a bite to eat at that time: one of the local hot dog stands her father took her to occasionally when he picked her up from school. Was she ever as mad as she was at that young and hot-headed age again? She wanted a mean hot dog, more so than anything else, and accompanied with the small feelings of abandonment she just so happened to conjure her favorite meaty substance out of thin air and right into her own very hands. Her mother and father had both returned just in time to witness such an event and it was immediate for both of them to know that their daughter was magical just like her father.
Her parents had never divulged the truth behind her father and his wizarding ways because they were both afraid that Amy wouldn't come to acquire the same kind of power that her daddy had and that it would create some kind of jealously or stain on her life if she could never acquire it. Needless to say, when they had learned of their daughter's capabilities, they were very happy to see their little girl be all that she could be just like her father was! Then came the owl with the letter, her father and mother giving her their answer; Amy embarked on her quest to Hogwarts to truly master the potential that she had. She had told her parents that she went to make them proud and while that was the truth that wasn't the real answer; Amy, deep down, was some kind of twisted megalomaniac and she would come to learn much more about herself in this wizardly school than she could ever have imagined in the outside world of normalcy.
